Can you believe CPOP is turning 50 this Fall? What better way to bring everyone back than to kick off a year of events (COVID-safe of course)? We need lots of help to pull everything together, and we have a variety of opportunities to volunteer, big and small, leading or assisting, party planning or communications, and so on. Events start in October, and we will have approximately one monthly event until the summer of 2022.

if you would like to get involved.
Dear Family,
Connections are the catalyst of relationships. How do we connect with one another? I find that I share a kindred spirit with those who are the same age as me. We’ve shared many of the same life experiences, regardless of where we grew up. When I find someone born in the same year as me, I immediately feel a connection with them. Since my first day here at Christ, Prince of Peace, I have felt that same connection with our parish. Turns out that it’s for the same reason - we’re the same age!
2021 is shaping up to be a big year in the life of our parish. And not just because 2020 has been a year to forget, especially as we are still amid a global pandemic, but because we truly have something to celebrate! Established in June of 1971, with our formal opening on September 11-12, 1971, our parish turns 50 next year! And we plan on celebrating into 2022 with a variety of events and activities!
Our Parish Pastoral Council is in the formative stages of various events and activities to celebrate. These are just some of the big events you can expect to see in 2021 and beyond:
I am looking very forward to celebrating our parish’s 50th Anniversary with you! With your help, together, we’ll make it an incredible, unforgettable celebration!
Best,
FC
