The “Giving Tree” is placed in the gathering space of the church during Advent and is decorated with different colored ornaments. Each ornament lists a specific gift or item that the family or individual adopted by the parish for the Christmas season has requested. Items include food, clothing, household items, and gift suggestions. Parishioners are encouraged to take one or more ornaments, purchase the items, and return them under the “Giving Tree” before the deadline for delivery.
INSTRUCTIONS: Please take the tags from the tree and purchase the items indicated on the tag. - The Colored tags will be $25.00 gift cards, family games, or household items. - The White tags will be personal care or household.
Please place your purchased items/gifts under the "Giving Tree" any time before December 5th. THE PRESENTS SHOULD COME IN GIFT BAGS OR UNWRAPPED WITH TAG ATTACHED.
MONETARY DONATIONS: Monetary donations are welcome! Your donations are used to purchase grocery gift cards for the families. Write checks to the "Society of St. Vincent DePaul" and indicate the Adopt-a-Family program.
Our parish will participate in the Christmas Program at St. Anthon14thy of Padua Food Pantry. We will collect items and donations in November / December. The "Giving Tree" will be in the vestibule.
